No prosecution witness came forward until several months after the crime. According to the prosecuting attorney Teresita Galanida, it was only once they were haunted by the ghosts of the missing girls. Or was it the reward money? Former NBI Director Villarin, who was the first one to investigate the case, reveals the shocking truth about what he learned when he first interviewed these witnesses, including the co-worker of Jackie Chiong, Sheila Singson.
Witness Motivated by Ghosts? or Money?
Willard Redobles was working security at the mall entrance where the Chiong sisters were allegedly kidnapped. He originally told the police that he saw NOTHING suspicious that night, until several months later when the prosecution started publicly offering reward money. Lead prosecutor Galanida says it was not the money that suddenly motivated Willard, but that he was visited by the ghosts of the Chiong sisters.
